Hercules

Greek Tale

Hercules was strong, but her was not immortal. He was considered the strongest of all mortals, stronger then many gods. He was the factor the helped the Olympian Gods win the was against the Giants. He was the last mortal son of Zeus. He is the only man born of mortal woman to become a god upon his death.

Complementing his strength was a noticeable lack of intelligence or wisdom. Once he threatened to shoot the sun when he bacame too hot. He had strong emotions that often got him in trouble and his pride was eaisly offended. Hercules never forgot grudges and his want for women and fod was almost as huge as ghis strenght. He was viewed as brutal, primitive and violent. His weapon of choice was a giant club, he wore lion skins with the head still attached and created most pf his own problems.

Although, calling his a moron isn't fair. Hercules would do anything to help a friend and was the most critical judge of his actions. He was too strong to be punished by anyone, so he would often go through his own penance.

The view of him changed over time, and now his is viewed as a hero and a god by the Romans.

Hercules - Disney Move

Modern Tale

Some buisness relade modernizations of Hercules are as follows. There is a company called Hercules that makes a top-selling video graphics card (their slogan is Legendary Strength, Quality and Performance). There is also the Hercules transport plane, used by the United States Air Force to carry large volumes of war material and food.

Disney made a movie about Hercules that show his good attributes mostly and less of his bad traits. But for the most part, the story is told pretty acurately and in a way little children can enjoy and understand.
