Rangeview Lady Raiders Win First League Title in School History
By ANTHONY ARROYO For The Aurora Sentinel
HENDERSON | For all of the returning varsity players from last season, there was a lot of familiarity when the Lady ThunderHawks of Prairie View (PVHS) and the Lady Raiders of Rangeview (RHS) met on the hardwood floor Thursday night.
Last year, both teams entered the contest undefeated in league play, a game that ended with a 62-56 Prairie View victory on Rangeview’s home court.
This year Rangeview got revenge and did it on Prairie View’s home court, outlasting its conference foe with a 55-52 victory. The win delivered the team’s first league title in school history and also marks the best record ever at 21-2.

Booster Club Seeking Help for After Prom
Rangeview is in the planning stages of this year’s awesome after prom activities! Here’s your chance to put your talents to use and have a great time with our students. Some of the activities from the past include carnival games, inflatables, photo booth, Dance Dance Revolution, Wacky Trikes and games in the swimming pool. We will also have door prizes, food and drinks.
We are committed to having a fun, SAFE environment for the students and that’s where we need your help. We need volunteers to help with the activities, monitor the food and drinks, check students into the building, ticket sales and provide security by keeping students inside the building.
We believe that Rangeview’s parents and friends are up to the challenge of making this year’s after prom a memorable experience for our students. If you have never participated in after prom, you will be amazed at how much the students appreciate the time and energy you put into this special night. And remember, the purpose of after prom is to give the students a safe, fun place to go after their evening of dinner and dancing is over. Once the gowns and tuxes come off, it’s all fun and games for the kids and chaperones!
